2025 Indeed Partner Policies & Guidelines

Expectations, principles, and acceptable behaviors for all partners who interact with Indeed's platform.

Objective:

These Policies & Guidelines outline the expectations, principles, and acceptable behaviors for all partners who interact with Indeed's platform, including but not limited to resellers, third-party service providers, and integration partners (‘Partner(s)’), with the goal of building a successful and productive partnership for all parties. By adhering to these policies and guidelines, both Indeed and its Partners agree to foster a mutually beneficial, respectful, and sustainable partnership while preventing any misuse, abuse, or unauthorized commercialization of Indeed’s products and services. Both Indeed and its Partners retain the right to innovate and develop products, even if there is some overlap. However, Partners are prohibited from exploiting the relationship or leveraging Indeed's investments in employer and job seeker loyalty to gain an unfair competitive advantage or harm Indeed’s business.

Better Together
  1. Partners strive to create value through the partnership that benefits both Indeed and the partner.
  2. Partners will not commercialize Indeed’s products or platforms without explicit prior written consent or as expressly agreed within the contractual agreement. Commercialization includes activities such as reselling, pitching, marketing, or delivering any sales motions related to Indeed's products, services, and offerings.
  3. Partners will not deliver any sales, marketing, or go-to-market communications (including materials) that disparage or diminish the value of Indeed’s products, or negatively impact Indeed’s business or brand reputation.
Communication & TransparencyRegular Updates & Issue ResolutionPartners will proactively share updates that impact partnership terms or Indeed’s business. In the event of disputes or challenges, both parties agree to address them promptly, focusing on collaboration and finding mutually acceptable solutions, including identifying a clear escalation process.
Fairness in Terms with No Hidden AgendaPartners must promptly disclose any circumstances or relationships, including with third parties, that could represent a conflict of interest with Indeed or the terms of the partnership.
FlexibilityBoth parties are open to revisiting terms and strategies to ensure the ongoing success of the partnership.
Commitment to Customer SuccessCustomer SupportBoth parties shall provide timely and effective customer support to their respective or mutual users for any issues arising from the use of the platform or services.
Marketing & Promotion & Brand Usage
  1. Partners will not knowingly and intentionally engage in any marketing practices which are or might be detrimental to Indeed, its products, brand, or reputation.
  2. Brand usage must reflect only the scope and nature of the partnership, and should not imply endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation beyond what is expressly agreed.
  3. Any third-party use of Indeed’s brand by the partner (e.g., subcontractors, affiliates, or marketing vendors) requires prior written approval and adherence to these guidelines.
  4. Violation of brand usage rules may result in revocation of branding rights, corrective actions, or termination of the partnership.
Compliance & Legal ResponsibilitiesRegulatory Compliance & Data PrivacyPartners will comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards pertaining to Data Protection and Privacy (including but not limited to GDPR and CCPA) and all other industry-specific regulations as applicable. Partners shall implement appropriate measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of user data, promptly notify Indeed of any data breaches, and maintain necessary records to demonstrate compliance.
Adopting New Platform & Product PoliciesPartners agree to adopt new Indeed platform policies as they are being rolled out, to enhance partnership value and ensure customer consistency.
